Dr. Will Burt is the Vice President of Science and Product and Planetary Tech, a small Halifax-based startup and a global leader in the research, development and deployment of a coastal carbon removal technology called Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement. Dr. Burt spent 15 years in academia studying coastal marine biogeochemistry before joining Planetary in early 2022. In 4 years he has led Planetary’s evolution from lab-scale, to global leaders in permanent carbon removal deliveries.
