Canada’s blue economy is expanding rapidly, and Ocean Alliance Canada (OAC) is here to guide its growth. Evolving from ECO Canada, OAC is now a national initiative that brings together government, industry, academia, Indigenous leadership, and the workforce to foster alignment, innovation, and shared progress.

Organizational Membership 

Organizational members gain visibility, early access to initiatives, preferred event rates, and full voting rights in OAC governance. Members include companies, non-profits, academic institutions, government agencies, and Indigenous organizations committed to advancing Canada’s ocean economy.

Individual Membership 

Individual members include students, early-career professionals, consultants, job seekers, educators, and researchers eager to engage with Canada’s ocean sector. While individual members do not hold voting rights, they play a vital role in shaping the future of the blue economy through active participation.

Held on September 3rd from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, this exclusive working session will bring together OAC members to shape the future of Canada’s ocean workforce strategy. We’ll review progress to date, align on governance, and set collective priorities for the year ahead.
